Global Reflex was developed for client Tommie Render through Cobweb Games, a sister brand of Appsters with our team leading the development and code. The concept is stripped to its purest form, as a dot appears, the timer starts instantly, the player taps, and their reaction speed is recorded and ranked against the world.
The Appsters’ team drove the technical architecture that makes this possible: a millisecond-accurate timer engine, anti-cheat time validation, device-level calibration on first launch, and a backend leaderboard system built to handle competitive integrity at scale.

The timer doesn't round. Every reaction time is captured at full millisecond precision.
A one-time touch latency calibration ensures every player's score reflects their actual reaction speed.
Backend validation flags suspicious scores before they reach the board.
Compete across three ranking layers simultaneously for a worldwide experience.

The mobile gaming market is full of reflex and reaction games. Most of them share the same flaw: leaderboard integrity is an afterthought. Bots inflate scores, hardware advantages go unaddressed, and players stop competing once they realize the ranking system can't be trusted.
Without a clean competitive layer, retention collapses. Players who can't trust the board stop coming back. The social contract that makes leaderboard-based games compelling breaks down entirely, and with it, the game's reason to exist.

Global Reflex was architected from the ground up to make competition credible. The anti-cheat system, score verification, and device calibration aren't post-launch additions as they shipped with the MVP because the game is worthless without them. Built on a single Unity codebase deployable to both iOS and Android, the core experience is a continuous restart loop that respects the player's time while making it dangerously easy to say 'one more attempt.'
